Are you a team-focused leader who thrives on operational excellence with a love for coffee and quality? Do you have strong barista skills and experience in leading a barista team? This is your chance to make an impact, as we’ll be opening our new Release Café concept in Antwerp very soon.
With four thriving club locations in the heart of Antwerp - and more on the horizon - we’re growing fast. To oversee our café operations and lead our café team, we’re hiring an experienced Horeca Manager.
As a Horeca Manager, you’ll be responsible for the daily operations of Release Café while maintaining a seamless experience for both guests and your team. You’ll combine hands-on leadership, with a focus on operational efficiency, planning and team development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Café & Coffee/Shakes Operations: Oversee daily café activities, ensuring consistent quality, presentation and taste in every cup and shake. Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness and safety.
- Team Leadership & Development: Train and mentor a team of skilled baristas and café staff, ensuring they have good knowledge of our coffee and shake offerings and preparation techniques.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Supervise inventory, manage orders and control stock to ensure the café is always well-equipped and operating smoothly.
- Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional experiences for members, visitors and guests, making sure every interaction reflects the values and standards of Release.
- Community & Brand Engagement: Collaborate with marketing to promote the café, organize events and act as a brand ambassador to strengthen our presence internally and externally.
- Operational Excellence & Strategy: Monitor daily operations, review performance metrics and implement initiatives to optimize efficiency, profitability and team engagement.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Proven experience as a barista and/or barista trainer, with hands-on knowledge of café, restaurant and/or bar operations.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of coffee and shake preparation, equipment maintenance and quality control.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to oversee daily operations while focusing on team development.
- Solid understanding of inventory, stock control and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine love for coffee, shakes and delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Collaborative and proactive, comfortable working with marketing, events and other teams to enhance the café experience.
